My Love For You Is Like An Asteroid

My Love for You (MLFY) is a reinterpretation of the classic arcade game Asteroids
with a narrative and mechanical bent.

In MLFY you play as two lovers cast into an asteroid belt and doomed
to drift forever. You must survive as long as you can together; blasting asteroids. 

Player use their laser pistols to shoot asteroids in order to break them up. They each have a separate health bar which is damaged if they drift into an asteroid or piece of space debris. The direction that a player shoots affects the trajectory of their spin, which may cause their partner to be hit by an asteroid or position them for a perfect shot at the life support they need.
